Alexa Turzian, ACMHC
Therapist
Alexa Turzian is a compassionate therapist who helps clients navigate anxiety, trauma, and life uncertainty with clarity and confidence. She believes healing happens when care is both evidence-based and deeply human, and she works collaboratively to help clients reconnect with a sense of safety, purpose, and inner resilience. Alexa approaches therapy through an integrative, whole-person lens—considering emotional, physical, and relational factors rather than focusing on symptoms alone.
Alexa earned her Master’s in Counseling in Mental Health from Walden University and brings focused clinical training in anxiety disorders, OCD, trauma, mood-related concerns, and eating disorders. Prior to joining Beehive, she worked at The Center for Change, a nationally recognized eating disorder treatment center, where she worked with adolescent and adult clients and facilitated DBT, CBT, and ACT-based groups. Her broader training includes holistic wellness clinics and addiction recovery programs. Her therapeutic approach draws from CBT, ERP, ACT, IFS, DBT, and somatic and experiential practices.
Outside the therapy room, Alexa values movement, balance, and connection and loves spending time in the mountains. She brings curiosity, warmth, and steadiness into her work and is deeply committed to ethical care, continued learning, and supporting clients as they work to achieve their goals.
