Jared Ivie, LCSW
Therapist
Jared Ivie is a seasoned therapist who helps clients navigate life transitions, relationship challenges, anxiety, and the lasting effects of trauma with greater clarity and self-understanding. He recognizes that many people appear to be managing well on the outside while feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or exhausted beneath the surface. Jared provides a safe, inclusive, and culturally sensitive space where clients can slow down, explore their experiences, and begin creating meaningful and lasting change.
Jared earned his Master of Social Work from Portland State University and has been supporting clients for more than 15 years. He works with teens, adults, and older adults, with particular expertise in trauma and PTSD, LGBTQ+ affirming care, attachment-related concerns, and emotional regulation. His approach integrates trauma-informed therapy, EMDR, somatic techniques, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and attachment-focused interventions. By addressing both the mind and body, Jared helps clients build resilience, process difficult experiences safely, and develop healthier patterns for moving forward.
Clients often describe Jared as steady, grounded, and encouraging. He believes healing happens through connection, compassion, and practice, and considers it a privilege to walk alongside clients as they reconnect with their strengths and build lives that feel more authentic, balanced, and fulfilling.
