Jason Taylor is a compassionate therapist who takes a collaborative, inclusive, and client centered approach toward assisting clients in reaching their goals. Jason provides a safe, open, non judgmental and trauma informed space to assist clients toward living as their most authentic and empowered selves.
Jason earned their Master of Social Work from the University of Utah, is trained in the feminist multicultural therapy orientation, and provides queer and gender affirming care. Jason specializes in working with those impacted by relationship trauma, chronic illness and life/faith transitions. Jason utilizes evidence-based approaches grounded in mindfulness and self understanding such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and somatic therapy. Jason enjoys utilizing the tools that best fit each client's choices, needs, and preferences. Jason currently provides individual therapy for adolescents and adults.
Outside the office, Jason is a passionate parent to 3 feline children who enjoys trying new gluten-free foods & sweet treats, outdoor hobbies that get their body moving, discovering new tunes, and seeking the next great film to enjoy.
