Tara Bravo, LCSW

Therapist

Tara Bravo is a compassionate therapist who believes healing begins when people feel safe enough to be fully seen. She creates a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients can show up authentically, explore difficult experiences, and build meaningful change. Tara understands that growth often involves both courage and vulnerability, and she values walking alongside her clients through life's challenges while celebrating progress along the way.

Tara earned her Master of Social Work from the University of Utah and has over 10 years of experience supporting individuals through trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, and major life transitions. Her background includes working with veterans, women in correctional settings, and individuals from diverse backgrounds who have experienced significant adversity. Tara has particular expertise in trauma and PTSD, sexual abuse recovery, and women's issues. She utilizes evidence-based approaches including EMDR, Brainspotting, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients process the past, strengthen coping skills, and move toward the life they want to create.

Clients often describe Tara as approachable, supportive, and deeply empathetic. She is committed to helping each person feel heard, understood, and empowered as they gain insight, heal from difficult experiences, and develop greater confidence in themselves and their future.
