Tegan Binford, CMHC-I

Therapist

Tegan Binford is a compassionate therapist who blends clinical expertise with genuine connection. After 15 years in education and school counseling, she brings deep experience supporting youth and families through life’s challenges. Her approach is client-centered, trauma-informed, and grounded in empathy, safety, and inclusivity. She believes healing begins through authentic connection and unconditional positive regard.

Tegan is Level II trained in Lifespan Integration (LI) Therapy—a trauma and attachment-based approach that helps clients heal at the root and nervous system level. She helps individuals and families make sense of their emotions, patterns, and behaviors in a safe and empowering space, fostering growth, balance, and meaningful change.

A California native turned Utah adventurer, Tegan traded valleys for mountain peaks during her BYU days and never looked back—except maybe when it snows in April. A self-proclaimed outdoors junkie, she’s often rappelling into canyons, paddle boarding, chasing her nieces and nephews, or catching passes in flag football. Her bookshelf swings from deep-dive psychology to swoony romance. When not reading or riding her Kawasaki Ninja into the sunset, she’s dreaming of building a cozy, laughter-filled barndominium for her future family.
