Alyssa Polito is a compassionate therapist who works with adults and teens navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, motivation, and identity exploration. She strives to create a warm, welcoming, and affirming space where clients feel safe to share their stories and build meaningful change through trust and collaboration.
Alyssa earned her Master’s in Social Work from Case Western Reserve University, specializing in adult mental health, and her Bachelor’s in Social Work with a minor in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies from the University of Cincinnati. Her professional background includes community mental health, private practice, case management, and group home settings, giving her a diverse perspective on supporting clients through different stages and experiences in life.
Alyssa recently relocated to Utah from Ohio to embrace her love of the mountains and outdoor adventure. An avid climber for more than five years, she has led trips for the UC Mountaineering Club and worked in the outdoor industry as a gear specialist, climbing instructor, and trail crew member. Outside of work, she enjoys backpacking, reading, yoga, running, baking, and attending concerts. Alyssa is passionate about environmental advocacy, women’s rights, and LGBTQ+ inclusion, values that shape both her life and her therapeutic work.
