Alex Mack, ACMHC
Therapist
Alexzandria (Alex) Mack is passionate about supporting children, adolescents, and young adults as they navigate life’s challenges and transitions. She strives to create a safe, collaborative space where clients feel comfortable exploring their thoughts, emotions, and experiences while building skills that support long-term wellbeing.
Alex earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Hawaii at Mānoa and her master’s in clinical Mental Health Counseling at Walden University. Her clinical interests include working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, emotional regulation challenges, ADHD, self-esteem concerns, substance use, and life transitions. Her therapeutic approach draws from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
Prior to becoming a clinician, Alex worked as a Behavioral Health Technician and Case Manager serving individuals with Serious Mental Illness (SMI) in mental health court and as a crisis worker. She has also provided community-based support for the SMI population in Utah. These experiences strengthened her commitment to compassionate, person-centered care and deepened her understanding of the diverse challenges individuals face.
Outside of the therapy room, Alex enjoys spending time with her growing family and dog, exploring new restaurants, weekend travel, and nature photography.
