Nancy Martinez, ACMHC

Therapist

Nancy Martinez is a dedicated and compassionate therapist who supports teens and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional regulation challenges, and life transitions. She strives to create a warm, culturally inclusive, and affirming space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to move toward healing and meaningful change.

Nancy earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Utah, along with a minor in Health Promotion and a certificate in Positive Psychology. Her academic background reflects a strong commitment to understanding the whole person—mind, behavior, and overall well-being.

Her professional experience includes working in Crisis Intervention and Support Services at the Huntsman Mental Health Institute, where she supported individuals during some of the most vulnerable and critical moments of their lives. This work strengthened her skills in empathy, active listening, and crisis response, and deepened her dedication to serving clients with dignity and compassion.

As a bilingual therapist, Nancy provides services in both English and Spanish and is committed to offering culturally responsive care for individuals from diverse backgrounds. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time in nature, dancing, reading, and sharing meaningful moments with family and friends.
