Tara Trebesch, ACMHC
Therapist
Tara Trebesch is a therapist who believes that lasting healing requires looking beyond symptoms to understand the whole person. She takes a compassionate, person-centered approach that helps clients uncover the underlying factors contributing to stress, burnout, anxiety, trauma, and emotional overwhelm. Tara is passionate about helping individuals reconnect with themselves, build resilience, and create sustainable change through a blend of evidence-based therapy and holistic wellness practices.
Tara earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, graduating Summa Cum Laude from The Chicago School. She also holds a Certificate in Nutrition Science from Stanford University and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley. Her clinical approach integrates psychotherapy, EMDR, neurofeedback, somatic practices, nutritional psychology, and mindfulness to support both mental and physical well-being. Tara has particular experience helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, burnout, chronic illness, autoimmune conditions, insomnia, trauma, brain injury (TBI), and life transitions. By addressing the nervous system, gut-brain connection, and emotional experiences together, she helps clients move toward deeper healing and improved quality of life.
Known for her warmth, curiosity, and collaborative style, Tara creates a supportive environment where clients feel empowered to explore new possibilities for growth. She believes healing happens when people feel understood, connected, and equipped with the tools to thrive both emotionally and physically.
